History: How Idealwert became what it is today

IdealWert can look back on over three successful decades in the real estate business. Our milestones:

2007 Conclusion of first co-investor contract with a private investor, the objective of which being the active holding of inventories on a partnership basis for a term of at least 10 years, with IdealWert acquiring and managing the properties.
2007 Assembly of a Germany-wide investment real estate portfolio worth over € 50 million for an international investor. Subsequent elimination of maintenance backlog and vacancy issues and sale of portfolio as part of a share deal.
2005-2006 Supervision and management of the sale of a portfolio, managed for over 15 years and worth a total of € 250 million. The buyer has requested that IdealWert continue to manage the portfolio.
from 2004 Commencement of trading in real estate with purchase, optimisation and sale of approximately 150 properties to date
2000 Completion and sale of the property Friedrichstrasse 50 to an open real estate fund: sale value of approximately € 100 million
1998  Acquisition of the 100th property for the portfolio
1997 Completion of Checkpoint Plaza residential and commercial building: sale value of approximately € 50 million
1995-1996 Development, letting and marketing of three shopping centres: approximately 31,000 sqm GFS, sale value over € 100 million
1994 Development with subsequent letting and marketing of two office and business complexes as well as a residential and commercial building in Berlin-Mitte with total rentable area of approximately 54,000 sqm and a project volume of approximately € 280 million
1990-1996   Successful marketing of numerous small developments with a total sales volume of over € 100 million
1988   Acquisition of the 50th property for the portfolio 
1981 Foundation of GrundWert Liegenschaften GmbH, the first predecessor of today’s Idealwert GmbH was founded
1974 Build up of the real estate portfolio begins
