Abraham Rosenthal, Director

The founder of our company, Abraham Rosenthal (born in 1948), began to build up a real estate portfolio for his own investment in 1974. In 1979, the rapidly expanding portfolio led to him founding his own property management company followed by the inception of another company as a service provider for his own real estate.

From 1986 to the beginning of 1990, Abraham Rosenthal lived in San Francisco, California, where he successfully completed various property development projects with his partners.

After returning to Berlin, he successfully concluded more than 10 property developments in the course of the 1990s, and as executive shareholder he managed the largest privately financed – and non-institutional – project in Berlin at Checkpoint Charlie, which became known at the time as the “American Business Center”. His partners were comprised of a group of billionaire investors including Ronald Lauder. They invited Abraham Rosenthal to become involved as an active partner in the project he conceptualised.

At the turn of the century Abraham Rosenthal once again devoted himself fully to optimising his own property portfolio. In 2001, by merging various companies he founded Idealwert GmbH, where he is a member of the board of directors.
